Tu-99 Trabant Torpedo Bomber
The Tu-99 was my first foray into the world
Chris Giddens's created called Eastern Block. Due to the influx of PCS
(Pre-Classic Space) ships, the growing threat to the ideals of the Eastern Block
demanded quick and decisive action. Soon after the Jr. Marshal granted Lt.
General status for Rick Hallman, the Tu-96 Torpedo bomber made its debut at the
BrickFest 2003 Technology Show. After disappointing results, the Tu-96 was
overhauled and re-dubbed the Tu-99.
The Trabant is armed with two dual STR-FRA cannons
for forward attack along with two DIP-FRA cannons on turrets for defensive fire.
The load can carry six tactical-nuclear tipped warhead torpedoes along with
hardpoints for eight more outboard torpedoes.
